Choosing between the Audionic Mehfil MH-1212 Advance and MH-1515 Advance is not as simple as picking the model with the larger drivers. Both are rechargeable 1.0 tower speakers built for Pakistani mehfils, school functions, announcements, karaoke and family events. They share microphones and playback features, but differ materially in cabinet size, driver format and Audionic’s published RMS ratings.

The important difference: size, not a simple power ladder

The MH-1515 steps up to 15-inch units and a cabinet measuring 18 by 20 by 44 inches. That makes the MH-1515 the more imposing physical system, but also the more demanding one to store, carry through doorways and transport in a vehicle.

Audionic lists 150W RMS for the MH-1212 and 80W RMS for the MH-1515. Those figures should be reported exactly, but not used to declare the MH-1212 automatically louder. The manufacturer does not publish the measurement conditions, sensitivity, frequency response or maximum sound-pressure level needed for a controlled comparison. Driver area, cabinet design and tuning also affect what listeners hear. For either model, auditioning at realistic speech and music levels is more useful than judging from one number.

Shared microphone and playback features

USB or memory-card playback can be more dependable for an important programme because the organiser’s phone remains free. A remote is also included with each system.

Battery planning and placement

Audionic states 5–6 hours of battery timing for both speakers. Treat that as a manufacturer claim, not a guaranteed event duration: volume, microphone use, battery age and operating conditions all matter. Fully charge the cabinet and microphones, test the playlist and keep mains power available for a long function.

A single 1.0 cabinet does not create true left-right stereo. Place it ahead of the microphone area, on a stable dry surface, and aim it toward the audience rather than into a corner. The MH-1212 is the easier option where storage and transport are tight. The taller MH-1515 makes more sense when the larger driver format is the priority and the venue can accommodate its footprint.

Which Audionic Mehfil speaker should you choose?

Choose the MH-1212 Advance if you want the more compact tower, share the same need for two wireless microphones and flexible media playback, and value Audionic’s higher published RMS rating. It is still a substantial cabinet, but its smaller dimensions make it more manageable for home storage and repeated transport.

Choose the MH-1515 Advance if you specifically want the 15-inch driver format, have room for a 44-inch-high cabinet and do not mind the extra physical bulk. It fits buyers whose decision is driven by larger-scale presentation rather than the smallest possible event setup.

Balanced verdict

These speakers share more than they differ: both are rechargeable, microphone-ready, multi-source event systems. The decision comes down to physical scale and verified specifications, not a forced winner. The MH-1212 is the practical space-conscious choice; the MH-1515 is the larger-format choice. Because Audionic’s RMS figures do not follow the driver-size progression, buyers should avoid assuming either model will unquestionably outperform the other without a side-by-side audition.
